Laois Marlins Swim Club

Laois Marlins Swimming Club was formed in September 2009, by Sports Officer Ann Marie Maher of Laois County Council. Its formation coincided with the opening of the award winning facilities in Portlaoise Leisure Centre. Its development was made possible from sponsorship from Laois County Council, Laois Sports Partnership and Women in Sport. It now has over 70 members.

Training takes place on Mondays and Fridays, under the guidance of coach Irina Dawson.
